On one hot day..

The thing about new years is it means youre ONE YEAR older...
and when ure older.. ure expected to act YOUR AGE.
u are no longer allowed the recklessness... nor can u afford the spontaneity of the moment..
This year im another year older.. not necessarily wiser.. but older for sure.

Being supposedly wiser..Ive recently realized that having choices isnt always a good thing..sometimes its better that ure stuck with just one possibility.. since without any other exit route you are forced to deal with the present.. no matter how bad the situation is... u just go with the flow..
because sometimes... when u are given a choice.. u are forced to make decisions..
and when that happens..theres always the "What if's" of every choice/possibility..
The grass always looks greener on the other side.. even if u were in a meadow of daisies with long healthy grass and on the other side of the fence is just a far away patch of grimy muddy moth coloured oraganisms.. u still think the grass is greener there..

The thing is ..its the curiosity of the human mind.. to know.. to experience whats on the other side.. the land where uve only heard of the good things..
and despite all the warning signs that u might see or just choose to ignore.. thats where you wanna be..

but as usual there will always be the matter of fear.. the fear of risks and the fear of regrets.. fear of losing whats already good enough for the moment or screwing the best thing youve had...
unfortunately your heart still aches for the unknown .. for the other greener pastures...

So its either to take the great big leap with a risk of falling splat on your face.. or living in the moment with an itch that wont go away...

See...choices are bad..
Either way.. youre screwed..
