Working in an industry dominated by men, as i mentioned before being surrounded by men 90% of the time I have come to realised that there are various ways to work/deal with/better communicate with the human male.

1. You can be the pretty, sweet talking, hapless girl which by men would offer to help you do EVERYTHING.
2. Be the bitch with the sarcastic (sadistic) tone that men (subordinates/bosses/vendors etc) fear.
3. Be the nice girl, who does it all that sometimes gets bullied into doing someone elses job.
4. Be the pretty girl that everybody swoons but with a sharp tongue that u can give them a lashing while laughing jokingly.
5. Be the sweet girl who gets along with men but  would sometimes trash those who try to take advantage of her  (by asking her to do stuff! not taking advantage in that sexual way u pervs! although there have been cases like that in my company but is not the story im trying to tell here) but still  gets things done by herself and by getting the help of the men around her.

I would like to belive that i have my ways of getting things done with the various men i work with , by being a bit of everything from type 1-5. But what i have observed and experienced myself is that for each category of men, (maybe i'll talk about this some other day) there are different ways to deal with them. Sometimes you have to be the hapless sexy siren who needs a hand in lifting the big boxes. Sometimes it's the im your girl-next-door and "oh youre sooo clever for knowing how to configure my phone!". Once in a while you have to be Hitler "you'd better get those equipment fixed before i kill you and feed your bones to the dogs!". But most of the time you can get away with just being one of the guys, engaging normal conversation with them, kid them out sometimes when they make mistakes and never pretend to be stronger than you are not.It's not all bad being having them around all the time, it just needs a little getting used to.
