Whenever i go back to my mothers hometown, its like a transformation occurs and im no longer the 26 (ehem.. its still not october) year old that i am. Its like the surroundings allow me to act all silly and young. Like always, the trip back is always about food. Lots and lots of glorious fattening food. And I know these pictures may even seem obscene in this fasting month but its the things that i enjoyed during the last 3 days break. And not forgetting a quick round of
tuju selipar with the younger cousins..oh my.. its been a while since ive screamed so much..

You know how during the months of Ramadhan, we are told to be patient with everything that happens and and how the devil, ghosts and demons are chained and locked away? and what remains of your body is you and your own sorry soul. So what if you end up not doing the right thing, or you are just not patient enough.. does that make you evil or just plain bad? or does that just mean you're human?
Selamat menjalani ibadah di bulan Ramadhan people.

Mana moi, the tukang kupas kelapa in action? hahaha. I should've worn tudung that time, bole mencapub kat sini. muahahaha
It is said that when Ramadhan comes and all the syaitan are chained away, whatever wrong doings a person does is duely because the person is so used to being under the influence of the syaitan, that even when the syaitan is not around, the person is still a 'follower' of the syaitan.
The syaitan has sworn to bring as many of us down to hell as they tidak berpuas hati with us humans. So the people who during ramadhan do bad things, well, in general, would be seen as genuinely bad cause this time: can't blame syaitan. hehe. Sendiri buat maaaa. hahaha.
And as far as I'm concerned, I notice during Ramadhan, i'm more inclined to do my duties as a muslim and not stray away whereas once Syawal comes, it doesn't feel as peaceful and serene but rather more challenging(keeping tempers down, the desire to indulge in gluttony and waste and even the simple 5 times solat is difficult to perform as there is always something that distracts me)
