I always thought that prejudice meant being a racist...as both are never apart in the same sentence... i always knew that prejudice meant being judgemental.. but i thought it was only related to racism. I always thought it meant being biased to only a certain race. But then after googling it up today did i realized that :

prej·u·dice (prĕj'ə-dĭs)
n.

1. a )An adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand or without knowledge or examination of the facts.
b ) A preconceived preference or idea.
2. The act or state of holding unreasonable preconceived judgments or convictions.

and i now see whats most ugly about prejudice is the pre-formed opinion prior to seeing the real thing.. albeit race ..religion .. group..differences.. How unlucky could you be to born without a knowledge of who you are yet already being condemned to prejudiced views.
