the only thing i am less than happy about family affairs, funerals.. weddings and all is that we ( the younger generation = cucu Ba'yah) are always in the lime light with the older generation (my grandma and moms old friends)..

"lorh dah besor dah anak dara Bah nih " ( the one i hate the most)
"keje kat mana skarang or dah keje dah?"...
"duduk kat mana nih?"
"haa anak makcik pon keje kat situ gak.. nama dia.. polan si polan...
im not sure whether its because of my youthful looks *hee* but luckily i have not yet got the
" dah kawin dah?"... or
"anak berapa dah nih?"...
but still after all the 21 questions..it gets scarier when one of ure very long distance aunties asks for ure phone number... handphone AND home number.... grrrr...

it's annoying kan when they do that. i mean asking for phone no. etc. happen to my dad so many times. so called cousins or dua-tiga pupu came and ask for a loan. igt orang cap duit ka..
Mintak phone no? Kadang2 mintak just for the sake of maintaining the conversation je. Padahal takde pun nak call. But bagus pe simpan the phone no, sbb nanti if emergencies senang call. I dunno la.
i would say kalau family yg rapat (1st degree) ok la kot mintak handphone no. etc. but yg jauh2 ni...kasik phone no rumah cukup la.... dont mean to be rude but people tend to find you for what u are, not who.ye ke?

When we were in high-school, tanya nak blajar apa kat U? Bila kat U, tanya bila nak grad. Bila dah grad, tanya keje kat mana, bila nak kahwin and I guess it just won't stop sampailah kalau dah beranak-pinak pun, mesti kena tanya jugak, "Bila nak sambut menantu?"
But I guess in a way that's the beauty that lies beneath us Malays if not Malaysians as a whole. We care and in a nice, that's nice to know. Kan?
