i have very interesting friends.. but i still cant figure out their obsessions with Akademi Fantasia and ERA...

(dude.. u have really loooooong questions man.)

1. You won an ERA Rentak Muzik Terkini contest to have dinner (3 Michelin star restaurant+limo+flowers+muka depan at Harian Metro) with a local Malaysian celeb. Pick anyone you wish but for arguments sake, I suggest that orange fatty from Akademi Fantasia that you seem to like for some reason. What's his name again?Anyway, on the same day as the dinner, this guy from work; nice, intelligent, cute, funny, clean, would not think twice about introducing him to your folks, FINALLY asks you out for a tom yam dinner and a quiet movie after. It's now or never for him. How now brown cow?
Okey.. if it was with that fatty..who for your information is called Zahid...and despite his size ( i think he's slightly thinner kut nowadays) is very popular among the ladies.. and the men too rasanya.... okey back to my point..if the date was with him..i think i would actually pick the guy from work. especially if i liked him. why waste a great day with someone i actually like by going out with some famous dude...who might turn out to be some jerk ke apa..being crowded by paparazzi and all( wow..u'd think hes some brad pitt or something..).. lagipon i tak suka publisiti publisiti nih... kosser..BUT
since u said id get my pick of celeb... id definitely go with the CELEB... with my choices of celeb being from of below
i) Rosham Noor
ii) Jallaluddin Hassan
ii) M Rajoli..
and yeah.. not to forget Tomok from NewBoyz...


2. So you go on one of those dates. You have a nice time, the both of you connect really well. Suddenly you notice as he is finishing up his crepe with spinach and cheese/kerabu kangkung starter, there's a BIG CHUNK of spinach stuck on his front teeth. Uh oh. What do you do?
That’s easy.. as much as it will slightly embarrass him.. but if we were going out only the 2 of us... then id definitely point it out to him.. but politely la.. like..
"eh.. erm..sorry but u got something on your teeth.." and not like...."Eeeeeeeeeee.. whats that on your teeth???...euuwwww". .while pointing rudely.

3. Official meeting with the big boys at work. You are required to be present and keep quiet just to swell the ranks. No notes taking whatsoever because someone else is there for it. Do you doodle/conteng on your notepad to seem busy? Or do you go to sleep with your eyes open? Or something else?
mmm... I wish I had the ability to sleep with my eyes open.. if i did.. id definitely do that..But if not Id doodle on my notepad.. trying to look busy..(just like a yuppie..correct reference? No?) but normally what i do is chat with a friend.. but on paper.. writing stuff on the meeting notes or something and then slowly but assuredly sliding it to my friend.. then they reply back on the piece of paper.. and so on.


4. What do you think of guys in baju melayu and kain pelikat?
I think its sexy.. cool actually..i dont get to see my guy friends wearing kain pelikat that often.. but when i do.. i think they look very...erm.. how do i describe it.. down to earth?... cool la.. lepak.. simple..


5. When I'm back, let's say we are in the same zipcode for once. It was easier seeing you in London than Malaysia tau tak? Where are you going to take me to dinner? I promise to close my eyes all the way there (especially if you drive) :D..
Im surprised u would even imply id drive.. you DO know its like Fear Factor when im on the weels.
mmm since im sure by the time u come back .. ud be craving for mamak.. id definitely take u to a mamak stall.. but no ordinary one..id take u to that mamak stall in penang which is actually by this road side..mmg betul betul tepi jalan.. u actually sit facing the road.and u can smell the carbon monoxide from the passing cars . theres no proper shop ke apa.. just bumbung ... stools.. tables.. tepi satu longkang beside this old building.. i dont know whats the place called.. but apparently its quite famous in Penang.. and although the place looks really dodgy.. but they make killer roti canai and kari...ive only tried it once.. but seriously.. an unforgettable experience..

i think it all started while i was in UK ..i miss la people speaking Malay.. I missed Malaysia.. so in a way listening to Era was like having a piece of Malaysia in my room..comforting.. and yet entertaining..
but dont worry.. when im back in Malaysia i only listen to Hitz.FM and Mix.FM..
(angkat tangan kanan) janji!.. oh and yeah .. kenkadang XfreshFM


2. If you could be a fly for a day, on whose wall would you be?
woow... this is a toughie..but first.. i think instead of a fly id rather be a mosquito coz at least i can suck blood.. and if i hated someone i can infect them with dengue fever... mmm whose wall id want to be on or whose house would i roam around.. I think question 1 from Anuar's questions answers it..its a contest between..Tomok and Jalaluddin Hassan.. If i was in the mood for sweet young blood.. the former.. if i wanted something more matured.. id take abg jalal..... mmmm but i also think i would like to be a mosquito at the White House.. i can infect Bush with dengue .he sure has a lot of blood on his hands.. so me taking some of his shouldn’t be much of a problem.... and if he swats me down..then id reincarnate as a fly and give him taun... but since he lives in a country that has no tropical climate.. id settle for tomok.....
eh no.. Abg Jalal...wait..Tomok lah...Eh Jalal...Eh.. tomok... arh.. ntah la.. susah sangat..

3. What is the most evil website on the Internet?
yet another hard one.. tau la phd student... takyah la nak kasi soklan susah susah.. :D
(scratches head...)i cannot grasp ure concept of evil.. but okey la.. from the top of my head.. Id say ALL BLOGS are evil..because.. i can just sit.... and read blogs all day long... Blogs distract me from the real world.. from my work.. and I also prefer to read blogs rather than newspapers. and that is such a NO NO.. but to pin point a specific blog that is evil... I cant... coz their just evil in general..

4. Assume that you are a contestant on Akademi Fantasia. What would be your AF name, and why would we want to Afundi you?
If i ever do audition for Akademi Fantasia..please please give me a big whack on the face and remind me of reality...coz that’s all are just fantasy baybee.. ( hee hee).. mmmmm most of the AF participants use their own name...so since everyone knows me as Lin.. and i IMHO ..Lin is already a beautiful name on its own..Id stuck to that .. but maybe id change the spelling to something a bit more glamorous ..LYN.. or LYNNE. or LYNNX ( the X for a more alluring effect)...and why would u vote me? coz i would look sexy in one of those Mangga pool side shots.. coz i would be scandalous .. hooking up with some cute boy in the academy...(you wouldn’t want to vote me out and leave me broken hearted with my beu still left in the academy would u?)...

5. And finally, what number bus goes past Sussex Gardens and how much is a return ticket to anywhere?
Shaiiit... this is the hardest.. ermm.. lemme see .. lemme seeee...
okey....a 23 goes past it right? coming from Oxford Strt and heads off to Bayswater..
36 pon boleh..coming from Hyde Park Corner and also going to Bayswater...
erm... i think a bus 7 also goes past Sussex Garden but i cant recall from where...
Return ticket to anywhere.. okey lets see if all that weekend travelling pays off
its 9 pounds for a return bus ride to Oxford ( without student card)
about 17 pounds for a 3 day return ticket to Southampton
around 25- 28 pounds for a return to Bath (peak hours)
30 ++ to Lancaster if u book early.. if not around 40 something..
and i think its about 21 pounds to Birmingham?
Amacam? did i come close?
