Never mind me never mind me

Im so gonna get lynched by this..

But can i say that I dont get all the AF6 brouhaha?
Whats the big deal about it? and how it can be discussed in great lengths as if the future of the whole world depended on it?

and on a similar note.. I dont follow AI that much either but I think the Archuleta guy is such a pretty boy while Cook is just devilish.. but i think Cook is a very talented guy and deserved to win. Come auuwwnnn... who else can sing Mariah Carey's You Will Always be My Baby like that?!...

Up up and away...

So the plan was to do an easy 50Km ride on Sunday. My first long epic journey on my spanking new pretty little bike. ( i know. Its not so epic being just 50km but im a newbie and this is my blog so i can call that short ride a f***ing Everest if i wanted to. so just deal with it) So woke up on Sunday morning, packed the bike, wore the padded pants.. and away i went to Putrajaya. (50 km drive for a 50km ride.. waheeyy)
I dont know what but i was pretty sure i wasnt doing something right.. because early into the ride it was already hurting at the wrong places. What made matters worst was the chain fell off at the 10km mark. I had no idea how to put it back on AND phone batteries were weak. Really felt like giving up but wasnt really in the mood to walk all 10Km dragging my pretty little bike (MPLB) back. So smsed the other cyclists about my problem and managed to call up a friend for directions on putting the chain back just before the batteries went dead. Then made a u-turn, and cycled back to the info center alone. Didnt really mind the cycling alone bit since i could do it at my own pace which was fun.. but i really did mind the pain.
I felt bad for the others who were waiting for me up front and when i didnt reach them after awhile, everybody turned back looking for me. Nak buat macam mana.. dah handphone battery habis.
So there you go.. pengalaman berkayuh yang tidak dapat saya lupakan. :)

Pimp My Ride

I present to you my brand new baby. My new roomie. The Specialized Tarmac. I used to share my room with a white Bianchi..and currently with a Kona MTB and my latest is this beautiful peace of carbon!( rambang nyer...)
Bear in mind.. i still need a lot to learn. I have yet to identify which part is the fork (unless the one that comes in a pair with a spoon) and i used to call the stem, "batang".. imagine a conversation with a cyclist..

"So batang kau size apa?"
"aku nyer 100"
"aku punya 70 jer.. panjang siut batang kau"

I dare any guy to not make any jokes on THAT! :-p (i know now its called a stem okeyy...)

so thank u Superduperkalafragilisticespialidocious MTVHM for pimping my ride!

Rock Paper Scissors

Tagged by: Ghoy and Dann

The Rules :
1. Each blogger must post these rules first.
2. Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged, and to read your blog.

Fact One:
I love f@cebook's feature where u can leave comments on your profile name. Its good when you're browsing your friend list. You get a quick glimpse of what everyone is going through or doing, without having to ask them or click on their profiles.

Fact Two:
This is my 6th year blogging and i have realized that when u put your passion into something no matter how trivial it may be, there will always be good things coming your way through it. Its like your passion or dedication shines through that thing that u love to do and people will see and appreciate it.

Fact Three:
My inseams (bike fitting) is 81 cm, which apparently is quite long for a person my height. A guy i knew who had the same inseams length, was 172cm tall.

Fact Four:
I love eating with chopsticks. When i was younger, i used to practice eating maggie with 2 sate sticks. I know... pathetic kan? but hey at least these days im proud to be in the group who can go to a chinese restaurant and happily eat using chopsticks.

Fact Five:
Mungkin aku pernah juga.. Merasakan cinta..Tapi tak pernah..seindah ini..Mungkin aku juga pernah.Merasakan rindu.. Tapi tak pernah..Sedalam ini..Mungkin kamu takkan pernah..percaya..Bahwa sesungguhnya..aku telah terjatuh..

Fact Six:
Theres this scene in the Transformers the movie. One of the battle scenes, where Megatron fell down on to the ground. When he fell, there was a human being beside him. And then he 'jentik-ed' *ketepiak* the human saying "Disgusting!" . I laughed so hard watching that scene (after the second time watching the movie) . I think its just so funny.
No? You dont think so? sad?.. SHADAP.

Fact Seven:
I like to try everything in life at least once. Not sure whether thats really a good thing.

Fact Eight:
I love this website. It never fails to cheer me up. LOL!

I'm tagging... erm.. i think most of the people i know have been tagged. Tapi takperla..im just tagging some anyway.
1. MHM
2. Tsue
3. Idlan
4. Sauce
5. Jaja
6. Aini
7. Maya
8. theyogainstructor ( i know she doesnt read this blog. but who cares.Im still tagging)

The one where im proud to be both

As part of a marketing campaign by Adidas, they have given out (for free) some of their high performance technical running shoes for runners to wear-test them and then to review the shoes on their blogs. Lucky for me, they had one in my size!

Adidas has a wide range of categories on their running shoes, ranging from Adistar, SuperNova, Venus, Response and Megabounce. The shoe that i got was the Response Cushion 17 (17th edition from the Response group) and is more of a mid-range performance shoe.
The first thing that i noticed about it, was how light it was which was a major difference from my previous one. Although, my old one was just on of those normal Ree*ok running shoes.

Apparently the specialty of the shoe is the layer of adiPRENE® (cushioning materials which respond to the different needs of the heel and forefoot, and absorbs impact in the heel, providing superior cushioning and protection) placed strategically throughout the sole of the shoe (its that pink layer u can see on the side). It also has a torsion system which (the pink Y shape on the sole) which keeps your foot stable throughout the run.

Still havent properly tested it except a very short run at Kiara yesterday and for now i think the difference between the Resonance and my old one is its lightness and comfortability. But then again that could because its still brand new. So maybe more to come on the shoe once ive properly used it.

Bagaikan malam ditemani bintang terang

These days i bring a book to work.
like hello! Everybody needs something to do while waiting for their pc to reload like the gazillionth time!!
Yes. My PC is like a time bomb that will self destruct at the wrong key combination and my hand phone needs a rubber band to work. *aduh*
God knows maybe i have an internal magnet that repels all the electronic equipment in my life.
But No!!! I love gadgets! I love electronics! I love complicated functions! ( i think the too many exclamation marks are losing its value now) I am the absolute geek who buys handphones not because of its pretty casing but from the number of applications it can run on.. 3G..3.5G.. pdf compatibilities.. wifi...who chooses a laptop not from its weight or size but from the amount of RAM.. processor abilities.. screen resolutions... chooses a camera from the number of megapixels it can display or lenses it can fit.. and yet all these equipment are failing around me...
which leaves me reading a storybook at the office.. gleefully laughing at the humour as the boss passes by smiling at me.. and all i can say is... "Tengah tunggu computer restart boss" with the most pathetic smile i can muster... sigh...
*******************************************************************

During the last labor day holiday, the girlfriends and I did a "Back to school" trip as part of our 10th year anniversary celebration. It was a weird feeling to be back at my alma matter. Reminiscing the the old days.. seing the path u walked through every day.. and remembering how you were then..Of course, without fail the girlfriends kept taking shots of me and my ultimate nerd days as a student there.. (What can I say.. im a late bloomer!) Definitely not my proudest moments..heh.. but then again.. when i walked in to the hall.. everything didnt matter anymore.. coz... hey! How many of you can say u got your name on the board!! Ngeahngeahngeahhhh....

Hahaha.. sorry babes.. i couldnt resist!
