Empat hari tanpa internet.. tanpa proxy errors, G00gle dan bl0gsp0t dan aku sudah menjadi restless. Office hari ini tidak sesunyi minggu lalu. Lebih dari 5 ketul manusia. Tapi server masih lagi memblock certain websites yang aku gemar click.. *chisss*..

Today is 26 December 2007, Boxing day. Antara hari shopping yang aku paling rindu. Hari di mana kalau di UK aku dan kawan kawan macam dirasuk hantu shopaholic. Sampaikan ada yang sanggup beratur di depan kedai N.E.x.t sejak pukul 6 pagi. Aku kurang ingat Christmas christmas yang lain tapi aku ingat Boxing Day 2001. Mungkin kerana itu hari kotak aku yang pertama, atau munkin juga kerana rakan taulan dari pelusuk negara turun ke London untuk menumpang di bilik deluxe kami yang lengkap dengan fire place,fridge besar dan balcony. Ya, jangan terkejut... kami mungkin terpaksa berkongsi.. tapi biliknya besar yang amat..It wasnt new or luxurious but it was quite impressive untuk orang perang peghak yang baru menjejak kaki ke bumi asing...

Aku telah menulis dengan panjang lebar akan pandangan aku tentang sesuatu isu di dotted lines tersebut tadi, tetapi kemudian aku menjadi judgemental terhadap diri sendiri lalu aku menekan butang *delete*. Maybe im not ready to be outspoken atau candid.. atau lebih berterus terang.. mungkin aku lebih selesa dikenali sebegini..

I live in my Auntie's study room. Its fairly small but its not that bad. It can fit a single bed, a bike, cabinets and still with space left for me to do my prayers.. but the best part about it, the room also acts as a mini library for the house. Its not much.. but I love the fact that im surrounded by hundreds of books.. lulling me to sleep ( say N.E.R.D....). So yesterday during the Eid holidays I did some spring cleaning to rearrange the very messy book cabinet...And lo and behold ..Im proud of the results... (sempat lagi tuh tangkap gambar...say I.M.A.B.L.O.G.G.E.R..)

The huggle buggle

Yesterday I was literally gluttony. Yes i was one of the 7 deadly sins.
Its as if i hadnt eaten in a month. In the morning after woffing down a plate of Mag.gie goreng.. and Mi.lo Es.. I bought 2 extra kueh's.. then it was a bottle of healthy yogurt drink before driving off to the substation for equipment testing. By 11.30 I was hungry again... and lo and behold someone left a packet of Ja.cobs crackers.. which i ate unashamedly..By 1.15 I was demanding food.."Boss.. lapar..."
At 1.30 it was a big helping of Nasi daun pisang at Stevens in Old Klang Road.. and at 6.45pm, after gym.. I was munching on some BergerRaja fries ...with one hand on a large coke.. and one hand on the steering wheel. Seriously it didnt matter if there was a massive jam.. or if there was an accident.. i didnt really care..All i care was my bag of fries.. The ultimate de-stressor (betul ke?).. comfort food at its best.. At that moment.. nothing could top my fries and coke.. except hot sex...

btw.. Dont u just hate how the kids these days write like this :

Oh God.. one thing ..its about the language.. then its the mixing of alphabets and numerics.. and whats with the capitals at the wrong place???

Folk, I See You Tryna Do It Like Me

I survived my first ever TEN KILOMETRE run!
It was a nice cool saturday morning and the route was Taman Warisan Putrajaya (Yup i drove all 50km for a 10km run.. You'd better believe it) pass by the Palace of Justice, a slight uphill to PICC and back through the same route. Total exact distance : 10.96km. Total time : 1hr 40 mins.

Running stats :
Lap 1 (1km)- Avg pace :8.47/km Total time :8.46
Lap 2 (1km)- Avg pace :8.11/km Total time :8.11
Lap 3 (1km)- Avg pace :8.22/km Total time :8.22
Lap 4 (1km)- Avg pace :8.58/km Total time :8.57
Lap 5 (1km)- Avg pace :9.23/km Total time :9.22 (by this time ive started walking for a bit since we were starting to climb towards the PICC)
Lap 6 (1km)- Avg pace :8.58/km Total time :8.57
Lap 7 (1km)- Avg pace :9.22/km Total time :9.22
Lap 8 (1km)- Avg pace :10.04/kmTotal time :10.04 (ankles were starting to hurt)

Im just so proud of myself as the most i have done is 5km during the Brooks fun run.. and my weekday runs/walk are only around 3.5km per session, and even then it was mostly walking then running/slow jog. But on Saturday i dare say that i ran/jogged 80% of the way!(wooo hooo).. of course many thanks to Super J and Amazing A for being my coaches for the day. Ive realized that long distance running is best done with a friend or a partner.. as you tend to easily get discouraged (patah semangat, penat) when running alone.. So im glad the gurls were around, who even kindly slowed down to run with me.

On a similar note.. this would make a perfect running song.. OH MY GOD ..you definitely HAVE to watch this...

Hey Jude.. dont let her down

This weekend was a series of musical movies. From Enchanted on Friday to Across the Universe on Saturday...

Enchanted..(malay translation: Terpesona!) is one of those feel good movies (not surprisingly since it came from Disney) which makes your heart go 'La la la lala..'.A children's romantic comedy.. complete with princesses ... an old hag.. poison apples and a handsome lawyer ( aha?!)
The official tagline : A classic Disney fairytale collides with modern-day New York City in a story about a fairytale princess from the past who is thrust into present-day by an evil queen...
Things to look out for : Mc Dreamy singing! and doing this kooky dance at the end.
Things i noticed and just have to point out : Giselle who after spending a horrible day in the real world..her face all smudged with dust and smoke.. her lovely white dress tattered and greyish.. her hair all over the place... but the one thing .. the ONE thing that still remained perfect was her lips! like boy.. I gotta know which fairy-God-mother did she go to for those perfect glossy lips! It was nice and shiny but not over the top.. just the right shade and stays shiny all day long! :-p


Across the Universe : This one i really didnt know what to expect since i never heard about it before except that it was supposed to be based on some Beatles song. Well was i in for a surprise. It was definitely a musical with different renditions of various song by the The Beatles..to name a few.. Strawberry Fields Forever.. Hey Jude...While My Guitar Gently Weeps.. I Am The Walrus (cooo cooo cachooo).. I Want To Hold Your Hand..Coincidently the characters names were all based on the titles or lyrics of some of The Beatles songs. It was very.. if i may say Arty.. and slightly weird but in a good way. and Id say a good watch for you creative minds. My first impression of the movie was i thought it was an Indie.. so i think you can guess the kind of storyline, scenes , direction of the movie.
Things to look out for : The blue tall men. Very the.. ermm....another word for weird?.. Id love to be one of those.. bobbing my head about. :-p
and Jim Sturgess (Jude.. as in from the Hey Jude! song) who has a very delicious Liverpool accent and a wonderful strong husky singing voice... also lookout for Bono and Salma Hayek who makes a cameo appearance.
Things I noticed and just have to point out : I think i would SOOO fit in , in the 60's era. I dont know.. all that flower power.. colourful clothes... pot smoking... acting radical. being unique.. eccentric.. its just seems so exciting. Although i really wonder how anybody can get any work done at that era. ;). I bet people whose parents come from that age must be really cool!.
