Pagi yang gelap kini sudah terang
It was a pleasant surprise at the office when they opened the firewall today..which meant i could view f.r.i.e.n.d.s.t.e.r (yeay!) and y.o.u.t.u.b.e (double yeay!)..(i know. i should get a life.. but we've established that a long time ago havent we?).. so since 9 am ive been listening to Hujan's Pagi Yang Gelap repeatedly. Maybe terlalu banyak kali sangat Im pretty sure the akak beside me knows the lyrics by heart by now...
then to add stardust to the already fairy tale day at the office.. the bosses werent in and i bought my camera with me ..( to do some hands on practice.. it wasnt that fun just reading without being able to try out the tricks from the net)..
so sejak pagi
"Ok thanks…watch out…”who want to be next MODEL” ada potensi…"
definitely a happier day then yesterday where i was bored to death.. and the whole body was sore and i felt like i was going catch a cold (its been going around the office) but without getting even a little sympathy.. but yet without fail got to do a 30 minute run + walk combination later in the evening.

The one with Shizzle Ma Nizzle
you know the days that i feel most creative are sometimes not the days that i have nothing to do, with lots of time in hand to think. but its the days where im in a rush, or theres just so many things on my mind. Days where i dont even have the time to jot my notes on the back of a receipt or type my thoughts temporarily in notepad. But then again, THAT is assuming that I was even the slightest bit creative.

The other day it came to me that life isnt just about escapism or doing things just to survive. Yes of course we are forced to
okey thats the verbal equivalent of drawing circles and squares and triangles on a piece of paper while staring at your boss, trying so hard to keep an interested face, in a boardroom meeting.
(btw, who the hell doodles symmetrical shapes when bored? you draw the boss's face, write essays, gossip on paper with your colleague or outline the shape of your palm...Now thats real doodling!)
Peace dawgs!..and im out.
*tumbuk dada.. and points 2 fingers out*

Jangan pandang belakang.
The HINDRAF rally was over without me noticing the clashes or the water cannons but only the trail of trash left afterwards. We passed along Jalan Sultan Ismail and at the junction leading to Jalan Ampang near the Reinassance hotel, we saw strews of empty plastic bottles decorating the roads.
So today i am only reading about it in the newspapers, or seeing it in the news. And knowing how bias our media can be, im taking it all in with a pinch of salt.
Although, what i did go through, was the unnecessary road blocks days before the actual event themselves. And as much as i may not disagree with some of their demands or maybe the purpose of the rally, i still think that it was wrong for the government to use the police as some sort of intimidation to deter the people from the rally. Unless, their purpose was to arouse anger from the rakyat, towards the people demonstrating. Then i applaud them for their efforts.
Last Friday, after taking a short glance at Msiakini's articles on the issues, Im ashamed to admit that i may have said something that can easily be misconstrued as racist. I am not proud to say that I said those words without caring the presence of my officemates, or their racial backgrounds and im even more ashamed to say that it came out more because of my irritation towards having to go through bad traffic on Saturday then any other thing. (where i initially planned for a little shopping trip somewhere in the mids of KL) . Yes there was an Indian officemate in the vicinity and i was pretty sure she heard me and my comrades comments. ... the thing is im sure there are many others who are guilty of blaming the mob, just because it was giving them all this trouble rather than apposing their rights , believes or demands. Because as the general public have put it in many ways, their qualms were not with the local government , and no matter how different their opinions on the issues raised by the group, they still have a right to at least state their stand and uphold to what they believe.
As Nazmi puts it, "Yet, whether one agrees with their demands or not, they have a constitutional right to assemble. At the same time, the reason there is such a stir among the Indians is that they have genuine grievances, and which all Malaysians should take heed."
Well about that officemate?.. I certainly did went to apologize, but thankfully she understood where the remarks came from, and it was more of the disgust towards the jams that were heightened by the roadblocks.

Race Report
Last Sunday i tried my hand on sports photography for the first time and boy it was tougher than i thought it would be. But hey i managed to get some nifty pictures..and at the end of the day i was just as knackered as the athletes themselves..(please *click* on images for better view)

on a not so different note, I did a 30-minute upper body workout this evening since my initial plans to run were dampened by heavy rain.. but i dont know if i over did it or im just a total wimp..but my arms feel like theyre gonna fall off.. *help*...

oh btw.. i did my first proper run the previous Sunday. It was just a 5km run at FRIM but hey thats a start isnt it? although for a short while there was this little voice in my head screaming "why are you doing this Lin?!"... but when i saw the finishing line looming ahead,i was actually surprised that the run had already come to an end. Of course you hard core runners would be looking at my 5km run as just a small fish (ikan bilis) run (i know perumpamaan ku sungguh weird) but Im totally proud of little ol' me..*pats self on the back*....
any takers for the next run? anyone?

Sekrit training

Theres so much to tell.. weekend yang penuh aktiviti!
Tapi di malam Ahad ini, sebelum aku lena dibuai mimpi.. dalam kesejukan hujan yang pasti mendodoiku tidur.. dalam kepenatan berlari lari.. aku lampirkan gambar feverit minggu ini.. yang aku ambil secara rambang while i was at the car wash... isnt it amazing how a simple chore like that, getting your car cleaned can produce such an inspiring effect.(yesss feverit word of the weeke..inspire!.)

Si comot yang kurus

today is just one of those bad hair days,
after a sleepless night, waking up at 1.45 am, thirsty for a drink since it was so warm.. i couldnt force myself to fall asleep until 2 plus..
then as i woke up the next day (surprisingly early) to the drizzel of the rain , i decided to take the LDP as i was afraid that my normal Toll-less road would be jammed up due to the rain.
Much to my dismay there was A MASSIVE JAM on the LDP.. which i later found out was due to some car accident..
After the accident, the roads were sky free but the damage has been done, i was already late. So drove as fast as i could but i still reached the parking area about a minute after 8.
Looking for parking in the ever so "spacious" parking lot, I saw this small area and rushed to do a "bontot parking".... and amids my rush.. dengan selambernya I drove my bumper into the side wall.. which i had just sent for repair during Raya for 400 bucks!!
Dahla lambat..Bumper pulak ruined...*doink*...
tsk .... tsk...excuse me while i go and kill

Yesterday at Murni, Fynn saw this poor little stray cat asking for food....
Fynn : "alaaa kesiannya si comot dan kurus..."
and I looked at Fynnn..
:( "it reminds me of ME.. tsk tsk"
Fynn : " alalalalalalallaaaaaaaaa"
