Yuk kita ke Jogdja!

Kadang kadang if not always.. aku rasa aku nih strait forward sangat lah....*tepuk dahi*

************

Anyway.. anak anak nongkrong sekalian (i have no idea what that means..but i always hear it on MTV Indonesia)..it is hight time i write about my glorious trip to yogyakarta (also spelled at Jogjakarta), Bandar Wisata.. thats city of Tourism for u guys..or also known as Bandar Pendidikan or Bandar Pelajaran or something sorta like that since most of the big universities are in this town and the city is strewn with students (which made me think of Oxford city)..
The AirAsia flight only bought us up to Solo which was an hours train ride from Jogja..At first glance, Solo reminded me of Gopeng in Perak as it had lots of old and semi-ruined buildings. We only stayed in Solo for one night and id say the main attraction of Solo is its Pasar Kelewer.. which is the best place to shop for batik lepas, batik sarung and kebaya bersulam..but make sure u bargain.I was really bad at this but luckily my entourage had professional shoppers ,who could even bargain in Indonesian.. "wah.. kakak ini pande ya tawarr.." ( translate: abang ini pandai ye menawar-apparantly kakak in Indonesian means abang in Malay)...
Another attraction in Solo is its beca's (kat penang berlambak beca tak nah nak naik).. At Rp4000, who wouldnt want to have a try.. and we took it TWICE!.. heh

From Solo, we took their normal intra-city train (at only Rp8000 per person) which reminded me of those trains we see in Hindustani movies, those Indian trains..with really basic facilities, no air-cond nor fancy seats.. that was definitely an interesting experience. Jogja was totally different from Solo, it was loud, bustling with activity and a bit cramped..all their buildings were builed close together and there wasnt any obvious difference between housing areas and offices as they are all built around each other. The highlight or main purpose of the whole trip was the visit to Candi Borbodur. We actually woke up at 3.30 am just so that we could enjoy the view at sunset and boy was it worth it. Memang sebijik lah macam dalam buku sejarah Form 4.. eh ke F3?... with all the stuppas and all.. but be warned... it is a long and steap climb and do not get over excited during the initial ascending.. * u might get the cramps like i did* ( gabits dongggg...!)..
aku malas nak tulis panjang panjang.. so kesimpulannya..

1) Makanan, Transportation and Barang murah bangat.. jadi bawak duit mencukupi.. Tukaran asing boleh di buat disana kerana harganya lebih baik...
2) Make sure makan ayam bebek.. its just nasi kosong makan dengan ayam kampung goreng, sambal belacan and ulam.. but man.. out of this world lah (theres something sorta similar to this dekat Warisan, Putrajaya)
3)Shopping di Jogja yg best is di Malioboro, and make sure pergi satu pasar ni which is situated at the end of Jalan Malioboro..its something like Pasar Kelewer in Solo tapi slightly mahal skit... tapi kalau nak beli souvenirs macam kipas kayu yg wangi tuh better beli dekat gerai gerai dekat luar area area candi .Souvenirs kat Malioboro cam overpriced.

Berjalan di Asia nih mmg sungguh berbeda dengan berjalan di Europe.Seperti aku amaze dengan Venice with all its canals and boats ..or Cordoba with its beautiful Alhambra, aku jugak amaze dengan keadan hidup di Indonesia. In some ways it humbles u.. and in others, it just makes u more thankful with what u have...For pictures.. *click*.. have a lot more.. but havent had enuf bandwidth to load em all up

dan lagu karauke pilihan bulan februari adalah......

Jangan Ada Dusta
Broery Marantika & Dewi Yuli

Ketika pertama kujumpa denganmu
Bukankah pernah kutanyakan padamu kasih
Takkan kecewakah kau pada diriku
Takkan menyesalkah kau hidup denganku kasih

Memang kau bukan yang pertama bagiku
Pernah satu hati mengisi hidupku dulu
Dan kini semua kau katakan padaku
Jangan ada dusta di antara kita kasih

Semua terserah padamu aku begini adanya
Kuhormati keputusanmu, apapun yang akan
Kau katakan, sebelum terlanjur kita jauh
Melangkah, kau katakan saja

aku kata semua orang judge orang lain
bezanya..
ada yang akan menyuarakan judgement mereka..
yang lain plak judge dan simpan dalam hati..
mana yang betul nih?
mana yang salah?

apa hak kau untuk cakap pasal orang lain?

*******

aku tak tau kenapa.. tapi tiba tiba i had the urge to change my blog to
"the dumb blonde.. whos not even blonde"...

i do hope its just hormones..
Dari kerana mata

- early to bed early to rise.. makes lin healthy wealthy and wise..
- singing loudly to the car radio..
- sampai keje awal..
- a spring in my step...

just onother day..just another 8 hours.. and it starting of to be a good one..
then.. its off to the beach for work..
and off to seberang for pleasure

nantikan kepulanganku ya mbok..

p/s: Vals day was okey.. got a pen (again!)...char kuey teow basah tepi jalan.. Strudels for tea.. and friends bitching.. it wasnt bad at all considering its just an over-advertised, commercially enhanced scam to force people to buy red, lacy, heart-shaped,cute, cuddly stuff..but hey..i aint complaining

The office was colourful...cheery and ooozes with creativity...
and the HR manager said..

"And this area (pointing to some comfy chairs and an entertainment system complete with flatscreen tv and stereo system right in the middle of the office)...is where u can hang out and chit chat during office hours..the company dosnt mind u doing that.. We hired u for ure brains.. and not just to sit at ure desk 8 hours a day.. pretending to do work.. "

Boy.. dont i wish i was working there..

Random Fiction ha ha

RF 1
blogging has suddenly become a weekly affair instead of a daily one ..i wont say i have nothing to say but most of the time, by the time i get my hands on a keyboard and a monitor everythings gone.. *kapppooof*.. and rather than filling the pages up with unnecessary excerpts from movies, song lyrics, forwarded emails, supposed-to-be-funny jokes.. i opt for the no-new-entry instead..most of the time i just suffer from self-censorship like most people thus making it even harder to blog.

RF 2
I watched Brokeback Mountain (totally gay.. and soo lah weird seeing two very macho good looking guys kissing and groping each other), Transamerica ( chirpy in some ways.. but how the hell did they put a pen*s on a woman?), Ungu Violet ( slightly over dramatic and a bit dark and gloomy.. didnt need that after watchin a whole session of men making out. but the soundtrack is good) and Just like Heaven( winner of the movie marathon.. sweet.. entertaining and romantic without having to puke, reminds me of a lot like love.the type of story and not the storyline..) the previous week and i have to say Mark Ruffolo had a loser-like face in 13 going on 30 but in this one he had a certain nonchalant charm with a comical personality which really fit his role in just like heaven.. wouldnt mind snaggin one of those these days...

RF 3
The effects of recently constant reunion of friends and neighbours to their significant half is certainly taking its toll.. and the constant complaint about the existing one has certainly not helped the situation.. am starting to make up BS theories of how one ends up with the other.and am starting to have visions of a not so pleasant future all alone

RF4
how the hell do u say hi to a random cute guy u meet at the cafe.. do u like smile.. knock ure bowl of noodles into him and hoping it spills.. or like go straight for the kill ""Hi.. i think ure cute.. wanna make out go out?

Kenduri kendara

the only thing i am less than happy about family affairs, funerals.. weddings and all is that we ( the younger generation = cucu Ba'yah) are always in the lime light with the older generation (my grandma and moms old friends)..

"anak sapo nih?...."
"lorh dah besor dah anak dara Bah nih " ( the one i hate the most)
"keje kat mana skarang or dah keje dah?"...
"duduk kat mana nih?"
"haa anak makcik pon keje kat situ gak.. nama dia.. polan si polan...

im not sure whether its because of my youthful looks *hee* but luckily i have not yet got the

" dah kawin dah?"... or
"anak berapa dah nih?"...

but still after all the 21 questions..it gets scarier when one of ure very long distance aunties asks for ure phone number... handphone AND home number.... grrrr...
