Happy 18th Birthday

since i did a post for Abang.. it is fair enough i do this for Nana...

so here goes... my darling little sister.. who looks like me.. talks like me.
( dress like me; walk, talk and act like me..and just might be the next best thing but not quite me! so will the real slim shady please stand up!)

..but maybe slightly cooler than me..(im still smarter..) turned 18 yesterday.
its a big thing for her coz now at last she can apply for her Student Oyster Photocard.. Get a new phone and phone contract..go and watch 18 rated movies at Odeon.and.bla bla bla bla bla...

Im sure ure birthday celebration was a blast.. and no.. I didnt forget.. i was just a bit too busy to put up a proper entry yesterday... anyway i hear that u are having a ball** in London..have fun.. and get back here soon.. then we can go shisha together gether okey!...

The camera dont Lie

I think ive been sounding like such a sour grape these past few entries (excluding the ones with food la..)
the truth is, life has been great..a whole lot of things have happened that it would take too much time and effort for me to write it all down here but lets just say within this small time frame ive had a fair share of grief.. excitement and frenzy all rolled up in one.. but nothing so much out of the ordinary that it is worth mentioning here..
Ive missed some people here and there but that has never stopped me from appreciating the company i have currently..
like always there were many weddings and engagements to attend to..and the previous weekend was as hectic as ever...
met up with old friends.. to do new things..lots of laughing.. picture taking.. coolness ratings and flashbacks of the past..
I am nervous about the coming few days but what is life without anticipation, regrets and dejection..
In the end, it all comes back to how we view things and our attitude towards them..
sometimes..when you just cant beat em... you join em!... :D

I get so nervous just thingking about it..
my heart actually beats and extra beat everytime...
( im sure thats how a heart attack feels like)
its just nerve wrecking..
do i dare take the risk and chart the uncharted path
or should i leave it to chance.. and see where it throws me..
man.. this is tough

Caring is creepy

numbness has never really existed in my dictionary...
Im either excited... agitated..delirious.. paranoid.. sugar-high..sleepy..upbeat..confused..you get the drift..
but lately i seem to be lacking in any particular feeling...
its like an empty void.. kosong...filled with nothingness
...

behind my dark shades... with a soundtrack blasting trough the speakers...my drive back home turns into a technicolor movie..like in a scene where everything is in slow motion.. and suddenly you start to realise the birds flying back for the evening. the trees swaying in the wind...leaves falling on to the tar.. the cars are no longer the main characters...the rumble of the engine ignored..
seriously its a bizzare effect..maybe its the choice of music.. maybe its the weather.. or maybe its just the cheap shades..whatever that was.. i sure dont mind having another dose of that..

Photoblogging

Every year Raya is spent at my mom's place in Perak..with very Kampung settings.even my atuk's house is the old Perak house, the thing about Raya in Kampung is that despite it being very festive and traditional, the cellphone coverage is very weak..ive been only able to receive SMS's and the only place i could get slightly clear line is under the rambutan tree.. ( read : Hello!.. se...krrk zzt lamat Hari.. zzt krrk Raya Weih..zzt.. Apa?? Mende?) so it would be a sight to behold.. me in my kain batik and all.. walking around the lawn with handphone in hand.. trying to get the best spot with the highest number of bars... most of the time id be chatting on my cell under this rambutan tree or this one ..
Like every year we would make lemang and this year is extra special coz we even made our own panjut (pelita/pelita stand) using bamboo..This is what we made and this is the one we tried to copy .. there was even mercun... and bunga api.. courtesy of moi
herself..like always.. theres always a mercun war.. who can make the loudest noise and all.. tapi mmg tak puas hati la... tahun nih rumah sebelah dia nyer mercun yg KLCC nyer taraf.. tak terlawan kitorang..
Other than that, Raya was filled with the normal merry making.. eating rendangs ... giving out duit raya ( first time kasi duit raya tahun nih) ..long distance phone calls..and long queus to the toilet.. So how was yours?

Raya was a grand event.. celebrated in very Kampung style!
( so kampung that there wasnt any Maxis coverage... naseb baik ada CELCOM..)
so much has happened since my last post, but with the network down at the office and being unable to connect to TMNET dial up despite gazillion attempts... i couldnt even put my obligatory raya wishes...
will be updating properly as soon as i can get my hands on some very fast internet connection...
